Plain-language terms for using Shway Shway while it's in beta. Using the app means you're okay with what's below.

It's a beta

This is early software, offered free while in beta. Features can appear, change, or be removed, and the app may have rough edges. It's built with care — automated backups, guardrails against accidental deletion — but treat it as a work in progress.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is,” with no warranty of any kind. It won't always be perfect or available, and its coaching is training guidance, not a guarantee of results. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose (the Download my data button in Settings makes that easy).

The service may change or end

Because it's a personal beta, the service may change or be discontinued at any time. If it's ever wound down, you'll be able to export your data first whenever reasonably possible.

You own your data

Your golf data is yours. You can export it or delete it at any time from Settings. Running the app for you is the only thing your data is used for.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own golf training. Don't try to break it, overload the AI coach, access other people's data, or use it to harm the service or anyone else.

Not affiliated

Shway Shway is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Rapsodo, GSPro, GHIN/USGA, Arccos, Clerk, Neon, Anthropic, or any launch-monitor maker. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
